Today we got up early to prepare supper in the crock pots, homemade baked beans and BBQ pulled pork. Then we packed a picnic lunch to have on our hike on Big Creek Trail in Mt. Sterling, NC! So much fun even though it was hot and humid, but so worth it to see the waterfall. Could have done without the snake crawling acrossed Joe’s foot. He yelled out so loud that I yelled. Katie’s guest on her foot was more welcome, a cute butterfly.
On our ride back to the cabin it started raining, down pouring actually. The best part about the ride was when we went through a large tunnel Shelby yelled out “We’re going through a tube like toothpaste”. By the time we got to the cabin the rain had ended.
The rest of the day we relaxed and taught the kids how to play pool.

what a beautiful waterfall! shelby sure has a great imagination does'nt she? takes after me. things are fine on the homefront, candis missing you, but shes been really good. annie has decided to pack her kitty treats and catnip and leave home until you come back rather than to have to share the house with me! shes camped in the yard somewhere waiting patiently for my departure.bek is stopping down this afternoon. continue to have loads of fun love you all! ps.... wheres the coffee?
